Maribor Aviation Center

We are an aviation club with more than 95 years of tradition, connecting all flying and skydiving enthusiasts since the start. In the Aviation Center, the motorized, sailing, ultralight and parachuting sectors operate, with 240 members and students included in it. If you would like to train as a sports pilot or parachutist, or experience the magic of flying and jumping, you are more than welcome to join our company. The airport is also a place for gatherings, as we organize various events and guided tours, presenting our activities.

Wherever and whenever in the past man has left his mark on the earth, you will always find a hoof print next to it. The goals of the club are to unite horse and equestrian sport enthusiasts, horse breeding and spreading a positive attitude towards animals and nature. You are all welcome – those, who would just like to meet horses and make the first contact, as well as those, who would like to improve their riding skills. Everyone can ride with us, from the youngest children to grandparents, from the completely inexperienced to expert riders.

Green Lake – 10 ha of unspoilt nature

The Green Lake sports and recreation center is the first center of its kind, where sports, relaxation, fun and vacations are combined in one place. On 10 hectares of organized grounds, you can spend quality time in unspoilt nature.

Unforgettable sports experiences
A modern wakepark with a 420-meter lift, for 6 skiers or 6 water surfers at the same time, with an adrenaline-pumping speed of up to 30 km/h and rental of basic or pro equipment. A volleyball and water polo court is also available.

Spending the night
Arranged 10 parking lots for motorhomes (RV spots) and soon a campsite with a capacity for about 40 tents.

Summer events
Concerts and events under the tent or in the amphitheater under the stars.

Relaxation and recreation
Diverse catering offer, pedolin rental,walks by the lake and a wild beach.

Branka’s garden

Branka’s garden “The garden is my happiness.” I have been sharing this happiness for 19 long years, with lovers of nature, flowers, birds and other little animals, who visit the rose arches and feed themselves with water lilies in the pond. The main theme is represented by connected roses with clematis and countless perennials, rose bushes and large trees.

The garden has been awarded with four golden roses and the Crystal Rose of the Maribor Horticultural Society.

The point of the garden is to relax in beautiful blooming corners, beside the sounds of tinkling water, birds singing, colorful petals and the wonderful scents of roses. A special feature is the herb-vegetable-fruit garden, which offers various saplings, seasonal fruits, various teas, natural products, tinctures and more. We also take care of arranging gifts, advise on planting and organize creative workshops for adults (once a month also for children).
