The essence of our municipality is their people. In the beautiful, picturesque and carefully arranged villages between Planica and Gorica, which are surrounded by the plains of the Drava field on one side, and the forest slopes of Pohorje on the other, a little over seven thousand of us live. The lowland part, with the municipal center of Rače, is marked by one of the most beautiful lowland castles in this part of Europe. Further, the highlands are experiencing a tourist boom.
