The destination is named after the mansion Ravno polje, which has served its purpose since the late Renaissance. Many of count’s families used to pass his handle, but today, the once mighty mansion, has already collapsed in on itself. Despite the fact that only ruins remain, tourism revives the stories surrounding its past and therefore repeatedly sings the folk song: “Down there, on a flat shimmering field, stands one white castle …”
