According to tradition, the favorable conditions for growing vines in the nearby vineyards have attracted habitants of the surrounding plains to create amateur estates. Vinegrowers, winemakers and friends of wine from our municipality, surrounded by the hills of Styria, have gathered in the Winegrowers Association Miklavž na Dravskem polju, to nurture the old Slovenian habit of growing vines and all the accompanying traditions, culture and customs.

Together with the Maribor Aviation Center, we have prepared a special wine experience on the plains of Dravsko polje. Indulge your taste buds with local cuisine and experience a very unique wine tasting on the legendary DC 9 plane, from the 1980s. If desired, a tour of the aviation center in Skoke is possible. When you buy a symbolic ticket, a wine consultant will welcome and then pamper you with excellent wines and treat you to some local delicacies. This plane will not take off, so it is ideal for all those who fear flying.
