The unique recipe for today’s Fram pumpkin seed oil originates from that time and has not changed until today. Pumpkin seed oil from here is made according to a traditional recipe that was passed from generation to generation, and even today we have employees whose grandfathers and grandmothers produced pumpkin oil in the same yard. The pumpkin seeds are purchased from the farmers of Kmetijska Zadruga Ptuj (agricultural cooperative), due to the patronage of our oil mill. At the end of the year, something spicy is coming – we have a plan to open a unique museum of oil production in our old oil mill.

By employing the disabled and through the employment rehabilitation process (training at a specific workplace), we offer support to individuals who are happy to work in the baking and confectionery process, fruit and vegetable processing, and work in nature.

The Institute’s mission and vision throughout its entire period of operation are focused on the preparation of quality food products. Products are handmade and made by proven recipes that were passed on by our mothers and grandmothers. Our offer includes many sweet and savory products: everything from cookies, fresh biscuit pastry, salty snacks, ‘gibanica’, strudel, fruit cakes, ‘potica’, croissants. You can also choose from juices, vinegars, pasta, dry and freeze-dried fruit.

Escape Fram – Run the mill
Run the Mill is an ethnological escape room representing the interior of a mill. Visitors help the spirit of the old miller to start the mill and revive the tradition of industry on Fram streak. In the time between the two wars, more than 50 mills, a sawmill, forges and one oil-extraction plant operated on the Fram streak. Challenging and original tasks and loops will connect group members and test their ability to solve problems and cooperate.

Whole wheat spelt and gingerbread biscuits that just melt in your mouth, are made from eggs of our happy hens, who enjoy the green meadow and chew domestic flax.
