We have been processing carefully selected seeds into a harmonious experience of smell and taste since 1750. The beginnings of the Fram Oil Mill date back to 1750, when the first pumpkin oil mill in Slovenia and perhaps in this part of Europe started operating.

The unique recipe for today’s Fram pumpkin seed oil originates from that time and has not changed until today. Pumpkin seed oil from here is made according to a traditional recipe that was passed from generation to generation, and even today we have employees whose grandfathers and grandmothers produced pumpkin oil in the same yard. The pumpkin seeds are purchased from the farmers of Kmetijska Zadruga Ptuj (agricultural cooperative), due to the patronage of our oil mill. At the end of the year, something spicy is coming – we have a plan to open a unique museum of oil production in our old oil mill.
